POPPY : The First Limited Collection of the challenge : Creativity and Clearing.
Note about the challenge : in 2026 I am challenging myself to create and make with the material already available in my studio. A solution to improve my creativity and declutter my studio. If you wish to know more about it, read this article.
POPPY
It is the story of a small scale basket inspired by miniatures and small boxes. A design made with a finer cord, a button and let’s hope, filled with treasures.
Poppy is shaped like a vintage coin purse : a large base, a flat fastening and 2 reversed corners. A bit like Marry Poppins carpet bag !
Now imagine that you have your own little magical purse. No one except you knows what is inside but fore sure, when you pick an object it brings joy and smile on your face: Your favorite lipstick, this sea shell you collected to remind you a beautiful moment, a wonderful person. A necklace, a lucky charm ? And you ? What would you keep in this purse if it was yours ?
Where and when to find them ?
I made only three white purses and three burgundy red purses.
One of each colours are available in Empty House Traders, Stornoway from 3rd February;
2 on my online boutique from 3rd February.
One will be offered in a giveaway on Instagram/Facebook. ( open only for the UK ). 10th February
The last one, will be hidden somewhere on the mainland, next time I go there and some clues will be left in due time ;) So keep en eye on this blog and maybe you will be the lucky devil.
