Logbook March 2025

Hello,

You know, this time, this logbook is more about photos I took here and there. For Dragons Are Real it was about make a big batch of plant dyed bowls for the galleries and go to the mainland with my mother in law Jane Harlington, a mix-media artist, to deliver our goods, visit galleries and people, discover new foodie place and the annual visits to our favorite places.

MARCH PLANT DYE AND BASKETS

TRIP TO THE MAINLAND

Day 1 - DINGWALL

Crochet for the street, hello very hungry caterpillar.

I got a new embroidery loom in a charity shop, happy me.

My basket in the Alchemist gallery.

CROMARTY

My baskets in Gallery 48.

One day I will treat myself with a birdy brooch by Lesley Walker.

Day 2- DUNKELD

On the road, leaving the Cairngorm.

Shannon’s new wee shop. The cutest grocery I ever seen.

Tea and cake at The Clootie Dumpling. A new favourite address.

ABERFELDY

My baskets in Artisan &.

Considering to get this lamp.

Of course a visit to the Watermill bookshop and café.

INVERNESS

A busy evening sorting out papers, answering emails and listing what to do tomorrow.

ULLAPOOL

A traditional look in the Ceilidh Place bookshop. I am not buying this time but definitely going on the wish list of books.

And I was back at home, a car full of birthday gifts, not too much plants (I was very reasonable), only one new book and a heart filled with colours and nice memories.

This was a glimpse of a great and successful weekend.
